FAQs

Do you take my insurance?

Our group is in network with Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, Kaiser PPO, Lifewise, Premera (and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans), Regence, TriWest Healthcare and United Healthcare (commercial plans through your employer only), We do not accept Medicaid (Coordinated Care/Apple Health) plans at this time.

I have an insurance that you aren’t in network with; can I pay out of pocket for your services?

Usually, yes. Many insurance plans include out of network benefits. If you have a plan like this, you can pay for your session, and you can request a detailed receipt called a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance to get reimbursement for your visits at their out of network rate. This applies to Medicare plans as well. If you have a Medicaid plan, we cannot accept an out of pocket payment. If you have a Medicaid plan, please visit our Resources page for help finding a provider who can take your insurance.

If you are not covered by any insurance, you can pay out of pocket and we offer a discounted cash pay rate in that instance.

How can I contact my provider?

If you need to contact your provider outside of an appointment to get a refill of your medication, or if you have a question that cannot wait until your next appointment, you can send a message from your patient portal to your provider. If you need an adjustment to your medication, or if your mental status has changed, please schedule an appointment so that your provider can evaluate your situation and adjust your treatment accordingly. If you’re not sure what to do, we will be happy to help you on the phone. (425) 908-9123

I need a prescription Refill - How do I get this?

Check your prescription bottle - your provider may have written your prescription with refills. If so, you can call your pharmacist to let them know that you are ready for a fill. if your medication requires a new prescription every cycle (such as in the case of stimulants), you can message us directly through your portal with a request for refill. Please put “Refill Request” in the subject line of your message.

I am a college student out of state, but my permanent address is in Washington. Can I be seen virtually for care by one of your providers?

Yes, but with strict a strict caveat: Washington State regulations dictate that you can only be seen by one of our providers if you are physically in Washington State during your appointment, unless the provider is also licensed in the state in which you are located for the appointment. The providers here are only licensed in the State of Washington, so you would need to physically be in Washington to be seen for an appointment.

How can I get a copy of my medical records?

We can publish any of your records to your patient portal, where you can then download and save or print them out to share with whomever you like. If you would like us to send records to another provider/facility directly, you can ask your provider to request them from us (you will need to sign a Release of Information (ROI) form before we can send records). Please call us if you need assistance.
